Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LawPipeline ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LawPipeline is an AI-powered content generation platform designed to help legal professionals create social media content. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate draft content based on your inputs. All generated content is a starting point and must be reviewed, edited, and approved by a licensed attorney before publication.

3. Professional Responsibility

LawPipeline does not provide legal advice. Content generated by the Service is for marketing and informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you publish complies with the advertising rules and professional conduct standards of your jurisdiction, including but not limited to ABA Model Rules, Law Society of Ontario guidelines, and applicable state or provincial bar regulations.

The compliance checks provided by LawPipeline are automated and informational only — they do not constitute a legal opinion or guarantee compliance with any bar advertising rules.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is false, misleading, or deceptive
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent the Service's security measures

6. Credits and Billing

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Free accounts receive a limited number of credits upon registration. Paid plans provide additional credits on a recurring basis. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

7. Intellectual Property

Content you generate using the Service is owned by you. LawPipeline retains ownership of the platform, its underlying technology, and any improvements made to the Service. You grant LawPipeline a limited license to process your inputs solely to provide the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LawPipeline shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
